When it comes to work experience, McDonald’s are serving up something different…We’ve been working to offer anyone over the age of 14 the opportunity to gain experience from one of the largest and most diverse employers in the world.
Go ‘behind the scenes’ at our restaurants across the UK and Ireland and get hands-on experience that will last a lifetime. Our new work experience programme has been designed by experts in careers and education to provide you with the essential skills and experience that employers are looking for.
Here’s a taste of what’s in store on a work experience placement:
- Get stuck into tasks across production, customer areas and service to support the daily running of the restaurant.
- Set goals and reflect each day on what you’ve learnt with help from our friendly team.
- Develop your essential and employability skills with specific tasks and activities designed by experts.
- Learn employability tips and tricks and get real interview and CV practise.
- Finally, reflect and explore the next steps and career opportunities that are right for you!
You’ll be supported and trained each day by our restaurant staff and have a handy placement handbook to keep you on track.
